Dealer Registration
Stock already in Nigeria
Shops and distributors holding phones that are already in the country and not yet on the Device Management System. The Commission's free upload window closed on 7 September 2026, and the Commission says the duty to register phones sold in Nigeria falls on the seller.
A customer with one phone can call 315 and register it free; a shop's stock cannot be registered that way.
What we need
Company name, contact name and phone number, a list of IMEI numbers with model numbers (a spreadsheet is fine), and [documents the Commission requires per upload — to confirm].
What it costs
₦400 per IMEI number for standard phones, ₦800 for high-end, on top of the Commission's fee of ₦670 or ₦3,700 per IMEI number, which is passed through at cost. Before value-added tax; minimum invoice ₦25,000; batches of 50 IMEI numbers or more. Models that are not Type Approved are returned to you unregistered at no charge.
Promise
48 hours from your list to the confirmation list and the Commission's receipts.
